Fuel Filters
For consistent fuel flow, count on JS ASAKASHI Fuel Filters, mile after mile, to help keep dirt, rust, and other contaminants from getting into your engine.
Dirt, scale, and rust can easily find their way into your fuel tank. A fuel filter helps to prevent contaminants from entering your fuel system and damaging your fuel-injection system or carburetor. Our fuel filters provide excellent filtration performance, flow management, compatibility, and durability to maintain clean fuel flow to your engine.
Spin-On Diesel Fuel Filters
Highly effective total flow filtration for diesel fuel with water separation.
Superior filter capacity due to the increased area of resin-impregnated, pleated paper filtering media.
In-Tank Fuel Filters
Designed to fit inside the fuel tank. Can be equipped with fuel pump.
Special materials are used in the processes of construction of the filter body that is designed to function in an aggressive environment inside a fuel tank.
Fuel-Injector Filters
Laser-welded seams help to withstand high fuel-injection pressures.
Filter media is pleated and impregnated with special materials to help to increase filter capacity, efficiency and durability.
A full line of stainless-steel and plastic filter products is thoroughly designed based on manufacture's design specifications for the proper fit onto your vehicle.
Environmental Fuel Filters
During servicing, only filter element is replaced while its internal components are not required to be changed for the whole lifespan of the vehicle.
The risk of installing of incompatible parts is significantly reduced by using back original external components.
Thermoplastic end discs of element are made of recycled materials which help to save the environment. The cost of servicing is reduced.
TO BRETTS TRUCK PARTS
I have it already!
Awesome service thankyou.
You are my go to people for anything like this. I appreciated the advice when I phoned as well.
Kind regards,

Parts of JS ASAKASHI Spin-on Oil Filter
Heavy-duty Case of drawn steel provides longer life and improved durability.
Anti-Drain back Valve - keeps oil in filter to prevent engine from destructive “dry starts”. It stays flexible in extreme temperatures.
Mounting Plate made of heavy gage steel prevents deflection (movement) at the gasket sealing surface and provides strong threaded attachment to the engine.
Inner Element made by "M"- type pleated, prescription-blended filter media provides more than adequate filter efficiency. The element has a controlled porosity blended media to assure complete filtration of the oil.
Plate Spring is used instead of commonly used coiled spring. That allows increasing size of the element within same size of the filer canister.
O-Ring Gasket exterior seal in between the filter and the engine body. Usage of height quality rubber ensures leakage free environment even in extreme temperatures.
By-pass Valve is a spring loaded valve assembly calibrated to certain pressure to prevent engine from becoming dry in case of high contamination of media or extremely low temperatures.
Tips on installation and brake pads rating
Changing Brake Pads is simple. But there are some important considerations sometimes missed by installers. This could lead to noise and vibration, leading to the mistaken belief that the Brake Pads are to blame.
Brake Pads are critically important components in the braking process. But even the most superior brake pads will not have the ability to absorb all the vibrations if the other supporting components are not in good condition or if installation is poorly carried out.
1. Calipers and Brake Hydraulic system.
Calipers should be serviced regularly. Damaged parts need to be replaced. Pins and sliders should not be bent or damaged (rusted) and need to be lubricated to provide smooth slides for brake pads. Otherwise brake pads will not be detached from rotor properly resulting in faster wear (burned).
The brake liquid needs to be the correct type and replaced before it absorbs too much moisture and its boiling point drops below the specified level.
Brake hoses and cylinders should be in good condition or replaced if damaged.
2. Disc Rotor.
If the rotor surface is uneven, damaged or has grooves over 0.3mm depth – it will need to be skimmed or turned with an on-car lathe. Otherwise the new brake pads will not have proper contact with the rotor surface, leading to noise, vibration and faster wear of the pads.
3. Lubrication
Important lubrication points
- Using anti-squeal NiBK grease (included in the package)
a. Back plate of pads
(edges and centre where the cylinders push)
b. Holding Clips or Sliders
(the sliders need to be taken out)
Refer to Picture 1
- Using high temperature grease (any commonly used brand)
a. Caliper pins (bolts)
Refer to picture 2
*Do not apply lubricant to friction material or rotor surface!
